The QR-SAH resin sand sampling machine is designed for creating standard resin sand samples to test gas permeability, compression resistance, shear resistance, tensile strength, and thermal stability.
Working Principle
The compaction process combines vibration energy for the lower sample portion with pressure from heavy blocks for the upper portion. The formula for compaction is:
Vibration energy = Ghnn
Compaction energy = Qhnn
Proper weight selection ensures uniform compactness throughout the sample, where:
G = sample sand weight
Q = weight of heavy blocks
H = shock height
N = number of hits
n = coefficient of energy loss due to shock
