Product Overview
The Intelligent Moulding Sand Strength Tester XQY-2 is a high-precision manual testing instrument designed for measuring the compressive, shear, bending, tensile strength, and force output of moulding (core) sand at both room temperature and elevated temperatures. It is also applicable for testing the strength of ceramics, cement, and other similar materials.
The quality of moulding sand plays a critical role in casting performance. Low wet compressive strength can lead to defects such as sand flushing, falling off, or expansion, affecting dimensional accuracy. Conversely, excessively high green compressive strength may reduce collapsibility, impair flowability, and increase the risk of casting cracks.
